(it will be up by mid-May)Whatchagonnado.org is being set up to benefit families that are dealing directly with pediatric cancer. It will help to fund their medical costs, food & travel, and even funeral arrangements, if needed :(

Today is Makes My Monday!

Here are a few things that made me smile today.

1) Tuesday Blog Party raised over $3000. Great job Debi

2) Taking the boys to the circus yesterday what a great day. Pictures to be added later today.

It was great. Seeing the boys faces well at least Hunter's face glow with excitement when he saw the elephants, tiger and the snow cone man. (Nicholas had no emotion at all. It was sad) OK so they slept the first hour of it. It was a priceless moment when we asked Hunter was he saw at the circus and he responding "I had a hot dog!" My son loves his snacks!

THE BIG BOY ROOM is finally done.

I cant believe it. It was well worth all the work it took I made the blankets, curtains and framed the shirts myself. (ha ACmoore wanted $134. each I did it for a mere $37.12!)

Going to take a break..

For the next week I am not going to be able to be online, for a few reasons.
1) My laptop is broken.
2) Both boys have been and are sick
3) Since both boys are still sick everything is extremely behind.
4) But the main reason is because we I mean I am doing a major overhaul of the boys room and since Pete hurt his back and been in bed for the past week (that is going to be another post.
I am going to do it myself. So I hope to be back next Sunday until then Please forgive for not reading or leaving comments. I will catch up just as soon as I can. Love ya all

A few week ago I took my first sewing class. So I decided to make my mother in law a beach bag for Easter with all the grandchildren pictures on it. As soon as she saw it she cried. I totally shocked her!

Makes My Monday - Surprise from my step Mom.

As you have notice I am a blog slacker lately. Life and really been crazy. I am in a rut and just cant seem to get out of it. Between family issues, my friends mom passing away (bringing up alot of memories for me) and the boys being sick. I am not myself. Last night I started to do my Makes my Monday post and it turned into a pity party so I delete. This morning I was driving into work when my step mom called to let me know for Mothers Day weekend she wanted to go to the shore for the weekend and asked if the boys and I wanted to join her and I jumped at the chance. I called to see if it was OK with Pete and he said YES so we are going to spend Mothers Day weekend with my step mom, my brother and his son, and my husband and the boys at the shore! Right now I cant think of a better way to spend "my" weekend, so that makes my Monday!

Today a mere 48 years ago, my mom and dad became husband and wife.
I can remember every year when I started working, my dad would take me out to breakfast to celebrate. (poor mom had to get my younger brother off to school). I miss them more and
more everyday! Happy Anniversary! I love you and miss you both more than you will ever know.

What Makes My Monday 04-12-09

1) Being off on Mondays! Especially after a super busy weekend.

3) Going thru a holiday weekend without sick babies Too bad Pete hurt is back and is probally out of work for atleast a week. Ouch!

Explaination of number 2. A few weeks ago I took a sewing class. I love it. I may not be good at it but I do love it. Stop laughing at me. (you know who you are, shoppy) Anyway, I made my mother in law a beach bag with all of her grand children on it. I know there is alot of mistakes on it but I was proud of it. I have more to make before mothers day. I know with each one they will get better and easier but all in all I was proud of my accomplishment.
